We source produce from local, regeneratively-minded farmers, and bring it to the people in our neighborhood who need it and value it the most.

Steven has farmed ethically in Yuba County for over 40 years (winegrapes, olives, stone fruits), and is now helping build a hyper-local food system by connecting farmers and their neighbors in an environment of shared pleasure and responsibility.

Having travelled extensively abroad, including living in Greece and Sicily for five formative years, he has developed a deep appreciation for the culture surrounding food. He understands that people are much more likely to eat well and sustainably once they come to experience the delights of knowing where their food comes from, participating in bringing it to the table, and savoring it in an expanding company of friends.

Utilizing a refrigerated van which was awarded to him by the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Steven has spent the past few years gathering top quality fruits and vegetables from his network of farming friends, and bringing them – picked ripe and delivered fresh! –  to local schools and food banks.
